I'm wearing an elegant abaya custom designed by Leenaz Designs in Bahrain. I'm loving the tribal lux -vibes in this abaya. It's super easy to wear with all neutrals underneath (or as a cover up for a dress!). Will definitely be wearing this in Ramadan!
Also, I'm wearing an Austere Attire hijab. This pink color is my fave from their collection. Use the code "summerlove" for 10% off any purchase of scarves off their site!
I'm wearing the Celine Suede Eyelet Scarf by Numero 102 Scarves. I decided to change my scarf style up a bit today and I am loving it. This scarf adds the perfect extra detail to any black & white themed outfit. The quality is amazing too. I highly recommend! :)
This faux suede moto jacket is THE comfiest thing you can have in your closet this season. I always find myself leaning towards jackets + coats to add an extra texture and cut to any outfit. Underneath is a plain white button down, which I linked several below from Forever 21. They're so versatile and also a must have for this season (underneath sweaters, jackets, or plain). Stay warm yall!

I thought I'd change things up with a mix of yellow and purple. I love this mini Furla bag I found last year at an outlet! Its perfect for that pop of color (considering I always lean towards neautrals). I linked a super similar one below! The coat is from Express last year, but I also linked similar ones below :)

I love how Naturalizer always puts comfort first in their shoe design process. It's really nice to have a go-to pair of shoes that will be snug and relaxing regardless of hours spent in them at work or school. Thank you Naturalizer for having us Midwest bloggers during St. Louis Fashion Week! I will definitely be wearing these boots throughout the winter! Also, this maroon coat from Guess at Macy's is beyond comfortable and a definite must-have if you're looking to upgrade your coat wardrobe.
Scarf: Austere Attire essential ; use the code "summerlove" for 10% off your entire purchase!

I feel that I haven't worn prints in a while so here it goes! There are so many ways to wear this striped tunic (and I'm especially loving the bell sleeves). I paired it with a simple faux fur vest + leather booties to keep the focus of the outfit on the stripes. Also, I've been eyeing this Loeffler & Randall bag for months and it went on major sale on Black Friday! I love how there isn't a brand label on the bag, but rather the focus is on the detailing in the calf hair and brief case structure. Major love for Loeffler & Randall bags. Check out some of my faves below!
p.s. This essential lace scarf is from Austere Attire. Use the code "summerlove" for an extra 10% off!

One of the reasons I love fall is because I can just throw a cozy trench coat + booties and be out for the day! It's so effortless and ends up looking a tad sophisticated too.
Speaking of sophisticated, I'm wearing this gorgeous Chanel bag from www.trendlee.com! I've become so drawn to neutral tones so this white purse really does make an outfit "pop" with color, let alone the detailing in the chain and quilting. If you've been on the look out for a designer purchase, use the code "summeralbarcha" and it'll get you 5% off your entire purchase from Trend Lee! They have tons of options that are super trendy now for way less than mainstream prices. I've also linked some awesome affordable alternatives to this bag below.
Wishing you all a happy November!
I'm obsessed with this mocha toned trench coat from Simply Zeena. It's perfect for mix n' matching black layers on those mildly chilly fall days. I paired it with faux leather pants & booties, along with a nude pink cross body for a little touch of color. There are so many ways to style this coat! Def. a staple piece in my fall wardrobe.

Hi! I thought I'd share this quick outfit post while out with my friends for brunch. It was a bit chilly that afternoon so I paired my fave Necessary Clothing grey turtle neck with super comfortable palazzo pants and a fall toned purple scarf. I attempted to match the scarf to my lipstick but you girls know how to do that better! Overall, just a simple, cozy and maybe chic outfit for a day out. Enjoy!
Outfit:
Sweater- Necessary Clothing / Pants- Nordstrom Rack / Bag- Dagne Dover / Bracelet- Macy's (perfect for stacking over watches)/ Watch- Marc by Marc Jacobs (I've worn it for the past year & LOVE it) / Scarf- Charlotte Russe / Shades- Nordstrom ($24!)

As for my second fall look with Necessary Clothing, I paired this gorgeous ombré vest and gold plated booties with neutral basics. This tunic is on the longer side so it looks like a midi dress, giving it a more formal look. I wore my large nude Kate Spade tote since most of the detail focus is on the vest. This outfit is awesome for a formal event or a night out! Will definitely be re-wearing these pieces throughout the winter.

I visited Necessary Clothing while in NYC last month, and now I'm so excited to be teamed up with them on a few modest looks for the fall! This first look I put together is a mix of the trending bell bottom suede pants (here) with a high slit grey sweater (here). I paired it with a maroon scarf (similar here), my Mac "Diva" lipstick (here) , and of course, black accessories (leather jacket here and similar black booties here).
I'm loving how comfortable these pants are. The suede is also uber warm for the fall--- highly recommend! Stay tuned for more looks xoxo
I teamed up with Danielle Nicole to show you all how I styled two of their trending handbags for the Fall season. Scroll down!
I styled the Mint Brooklyn Satchel with a grey sweater and white button down underneath for an easy casual look. I also added the sparkly loafers to give it a fancier touch. This bag is perfect for the transition between summer and fall.
I styled the Maroon Akila Satchel with a light pink trench coat and brown suede booties for an easy on-the-go outfit. This bag matches everything and the details in the zippers really make it a statement piece!
Here are more of my top picks from their site! Overall, I really love how simple and elegant her bags are without having to pay over the top prices (they're all under $90- click the photos)! Enjoy xoxo
I met with the Ahfif crew for a mini photo shoot in Chicago! I'm wearing their grey tunic, paired with blush pink & cream accessories. I really loved the simplicity in these photos and highly recommend shooting with Rahim V. Siddiq photography when you have the chance!

Last year, I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Look Magazine UK for an article about my collaboration with Mimu Maxi! I recreated my look in the lime green skirt and went out to midtown Saint Louis for some amazing photography shots with Jay Fram photography.
*If you haven't read about the collaboration's news features, see below for details.
The story:
I was sent a beautiful Mimu Maxi lime green skirt last August to incorporate into an outfit post. I shared it to my 10,000 IG followers at the time, as featured in the images above, keeping the shared modest style that Mimu Maxi reflected in their clothing designs. Unfortunately, after Mimu Maxi reposted the photos on their social media, their audience became upset at their support of a Muslim blogger during the Palestinian- Israeli conflict in the summer of 2014. While the photos had no political messages, I received a lot of hate (and threats) for solely wearing modest clothing. I did not think twice when I was asked to collaborate with an Orthodox Jewish company. We have more commonalities than differences in our religions. I also highly respected their modest values and creativity in their designs.
Mimu Maxi did not tolerate the hate comments, deleting them immediately and coming out with a statement in support of their decision to collaborate with a Muslim hijabi blogger, stating that one "can not fight hate with hate". This story quickly gained plenty of media interest from around the world, showcasing how fashion can be used to not only unite the commonalities between faiths but promote creativity while adhering to one's values.
